Parking for ALL delegates will be reserved on the main Bicton College campus (EX9 7BY) and a shuttle service will transport you to and from the EaRTH Centre (approx 5 mins transfer). Please allow extra time for these revised arrangements.

Devon County Council is hosting a free business event at Bicton College's new EaRTH Centre, aimed at tourism, hospitality and food & drink businesses from across the county, join us to learn how smarter resource management can save your business time and money.

The EaRTH Centre at Bicton College in East Devon has been designed as a leading south west centre of excellence in environmental and renewable energy technology training and demonstration for students, businesses and the wider community. 

Let's Talk Money will include a series of short workshops in the intepretation centre covering:

  • Welcome and EaRTH Centre case study: Graham Waddell - Head of EaRTH Programme
  • Government Incentives - the latest: Lee Richards - Regen SW
  • Energy Efficiency, Utility Tracking and Green Procurement: Alastair Mumford - Zero2050
  • Water Efficiency: Source for Business
  • Waste - Eliminating Profit's Enemy: Patrick Hudson - NISP
  • Sustainable Travel Planning and Grants: Heather Baker - DCC

Alongside the workshops will be the demonstration and exhibition area where you can pick up information and practical advice on renewable technologies, waste management and recycling, South West Water's Source for Business Service, and more...watch this space.

Graham Waddell, Head of the EaRTH Programme will be leading guided tours of the EaRTH Centre later in the afternoon.

Limited places are available, please book early to avoid disappointment! Bookings close Friday 16 March.
